Photo captured by Will in Ashland, Oregon
I vanish from the darkness of this hotel room to pursue an outward revival of light.
I have been dwelling in Ashland Oregon for 12 hours. My physical acknowledgement of Ashland, Oregon has been held to a humble abode at the Comfort Inn, consumption of the fair french fries from Dairy Queen and a vicious viewing of “When Sharks Attack”, made possible by the National Geographic channel.
The sunrise smolders beneath a fiery fuchsia sky, as a fire nearby witnesses its death. From the flames, I’ve been born.
I am destined for Northern California, where I once dwelled for several cycles of the moon. My footprints have risen like dust from Northern California, yet the family tree resumes its bloom.
I envision holding family members with a gentle, yet poised embrace. I envision my taste buds pairing with the Tango, as I celebrate my sister’s flavorful cuisine. I envision encountering colors of wonder as my brother paints with his unique brush of life’s philosophies. I envision my Father’s image contort, as he melts within the solace of his aging children. I envision a breath of peace, as I express the words “I love you” beside the grave of my courageous kin.
A Residence of Truth is alive within this Tribe.
Transformative, vibrant design decorates the Truth.
With intention, I oversee my contemplations, as I align with my deeds.
I have driven the path toward Northern California, yet the journey tends to be one I have never traveled before. Elevation is vivid, displaying maturing trees stretching with the broadening sky. Rivers embrace the road with deferential boundaries.
I am a vehicle, grounded with acceleration. I have withdrawn from the roadway to repose.
And the Beautiful Chorus resumes their Hymn.
