Melancholy
a feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause
My hearing moves with the song In The Air Tonight. My eyes focus toward the blurred vision of the photograph.
The gentle, yet profound impression of the piano curls through my bones.
The aura of lustful lights halo the dimming sky.
Melancholic mountains have been uprooted.
My veins are exposed.
Opportunity has never gone unnoticed.
My heart has never been beaten out of rhythm.
This silence I speak does not equate to my absence.
I return to myself, as light returns to time.
Time returns me to you.
The movement of piano keys glide without flaw.
I am the breath between each key.
I focus toward the unfocused.
Melancholy, within a halo of lights.
Be well.
